Southern Patagonia Winter Expedition

As part of my trip to South America, I ventured to Southern Patagonia to explore mountains, glaciers, and the unique Magellanic subpolar ecosystems of Tierra del Fuego or the “Land of Fire.” Starting from Santiago, Chile, I traveled between El Chaltén, Punta Arenas, Ushuaia, Puerto Natales, El Calafate, and dozens more villages and towns. This experience of wintering in Patagonia solidified my love for the polar regions.
